The Peregrine and Cathedral

A beautiful hand-carved and hand-printed linocut print on a smooth acid free printmaking paper.  Mounted ready to be framed.

Inspiration

A celebration of the peregrine falcons who each year nest in Lincoln Cathedral.  You can frequently hear their calls throughout uphill Lincoln and if you're lucky catch a glimpse or two of these fantastic birds.

How it's made

'The Peregrine and Cathedral'' started as a rough sketch then a finessed hand drawn design that I transferred onto a lino plate.  I hand-carved the plate before mixing my ink and printing each linocut by hand.

Linocut size 20 cm x 20 cm

Mounted to fit a 30 cm x 30 cm frame (ready made frames are available in this size)

Titled and signed in pencil by Joanna Pass

Each print is mounted with a conservation quality mount, backed with acid free paper and wrapped in cellophane.

Don't forget it's an original print, not a digital reproduction.

I currently only sell to the UK.  The price includes free tracked and insured postage to any UK address.
